SUMMARY:Summer School on Digital Chip Design
DESCRIPTION:The Swedish Chips Competence Centre is proud to support and promote the Summer School on Digital Chip Design\, taking place at Lund University from June 10 to 12\, 2025. \nOrganized by Dr. Per Andersson\, Senior Advisor and PhD at Lund University\, the summer school offers a hands-on\, immersive experience in modern digital chip design. Participants will design a simple RISC-V processor from scratch and have it running real programs on hardware\, all within just three days. \nWhat to Expect: \nLearn the fundamentals of digital IC design.\nDive into the RISC-V architecture.\nUse open-source tools for design and implementation.\nDeploy your design on FPGA boards\, no chip fabrication delays.\nBrowser-based workflows: no installation required.\nSocial activities and connections with local industry. \nWho Should Attend? \nThis event is open to students\, professionals\, and enthusiasts with an interest in digital design\, RISC-V\, and modern hardware development. No prior chip design experience is necessary\, but a foundation in programming and math is recommended. \nWhat You Need: \nJust a modern web browser and a laptop.
